Parish Council

The Parish Council is an entity within the Parish Organization, whose purpose is to assist the pastor in the planning function of the parish. It consists of 7 to 10 parishioners. They are appointed by the pastor and serve various terms of office.

The Parish Council meets monthly, usually on the first Sunday evening of the month, for 9 months of the year.

Anyone interested in serving should contact the pastor.

Finance Council

The Finance Council advises the Pastor on the financial affairs of the parish.  At St. Irene Parish, the Finance Council meets at least twice per year to set the operating and capital budget, review the actual results compared to budget, and recommend fundraising activities.
